The Caledonian Club of Prince Edward Island, which was organized in 1838 and incorported in 1881, is a not-for-profit community-oriented group dedicated to promoting an awareness of pride in and celebration of Scottish Heritage.

Club Membership is not limited to the Scots, but includes all who have an interest in the culture and historic traditions of Scotland. Feel free to come out to one of our events and ask us any questions you may have.

Annual dues for membership in the Caledonian Club are $10.

The Club newsletter, "The Caledonian Flame", is published quarterly and mailed to the entire membership.

The business of the Caledonian Club is conducted by an elected executive consisting of a Chief, Vice Chief, Treasurer, Secretary, Sergeant at Arms, Director at Large Social and Director at Large Membership.

The Society promotes Scottish heritage through their annual dinner honoring the memory of Scotland’s beloved national poet, Robert Burns. Some of the other activities which we promote, sponser and/or host are:

  • Concerts featuring Scottish, Irish and other Celtic Performers.
  • Ceilidhs ("kay-lees") -- traditional gatherings with live bands, singing and dancing for people of all ages and abilities.
  • The Annual Prince Edward Island Highland Games.
